Wi-Fi Sensors, Inc. comes to Kirksville, MO

KIRKSVILLE, MO –
Hollister Incorporated announced that it has entered into an agreement with Wi-Fi Sensors, Inc., an independently-owned developer and manufacturer of high-technology products, to purchase Hollister's 165,000 sq ft manufacturing facility located in Kirksville. Hollister will lease back from Wi-Fi Sensors a large portion of the building to continue manufacturing its products in Kirksville.  Hollister has manufactured its products in Kirksville for 44 years and this arrangement with Wi-Fi Sensors will continue that commitment to the Kirksville community.  Wi-Fi Sensors will also manufacture products in the facility.

The sale to Wi-Fi Sensors maximizes the use of the Kirksville facility by bringing in a high-tech manufacturer to share the space.  In addition, Wi-Fi Sensors' presence in Kirksville will bring additional jobs and diversify the employment opportunities available to the community.  Wi-Fi Sensors is expected to move into the facility in June.

Wi-Fi plans to begin hiring next week. Applications will be accepted at the Missouri Career Center located at Moberly Area Community College on East Normal Street.
